Dr. No is played by Joseph Wiseman who was a fantastic actor. If you have access to the original Twilight Zone episodes, watch One More Pallbearer. Wiseman plays a similarly heavy mastermind, but with a much greater range. (Note: do not listen to the radio version.)

It’s worse than you thought. In the book we’re told that No’s henchpeople are ‘Chigroes’ half Chinese/hslf Negro. Fleming says, basically, they’re criminals who do their homework. So extra helping of Racism there.
