Composer John Barry (along with designer Ken Adams) really made Bond the institution it is. Dare I say he was... instrumental? [raises pinky to lips]. If you google “NPR Fresh Air Remembering John Barry,” you’ll get a fantastic radio interview with him from 1993. He has a funny story about Tom Jones and Thunderball. Lots of good background information on the early years of Bond.

This has swiftly become my favourite podcast. Great job making thunderball actually interesting despite the underwater scenes.

Always a delight to listen to a new episode but this has an extra bonus as very entertaining to listen to while playing evil genius 2 XD
