Ah, George Lazenby.... How briefly we knew thee....
How fleeting our time together was, yet all the sweeter it felt.
It is a true shame your perfect self did not get a better film.
Also I truly do wish you could act.

I could feel that twist in the intro coming a mile away. 🤣

The Australian accents weren’t that bad, Devon’s was the most impressive. Bill Shorten reference was a bit dated but also true.

Yes, Connery’s Bond DID pretend to be gay, if only for three quarters of a second. In Goldfinger, he goes to Goldfinger’s hotel room and borrows the key from the maid. She protests, “but that’s Mr. Goldfinger’s room!” To which Connery responds in a sly whisper, “I know...” That was Sean’s big acting stretch.

My three favorite parts of this movie: 1) Red Cross and Olympic henchmen machine gunning each other to death, 2) that Christmas Song— written for this Bond movie— sung by the Children of the Damned Choir, and 3) “He had a lot of guts,” as a smokestack of blood sprays an entire human onto the snow.

Oh my, that discussion pre-intro 😂😂😂 I haven't had chance to listen to this until now, but it should give me something to enjoy and take the edge off my misery of a rail replacement bus.
